I bought a size 8 and 10 because I didn’t know which would best fit my slim 9 year old. She’s 60 lbs. She could fit in the bottom part of the size 8, but I was too short for her torso. The 10 fit her torso, but the legs and waist area were just a bit too loose. What I do like about this suit, though, is that the legs have an elastic fabric to them, with some give, so it’s likely she’ll fit the 10 next summer.
