This beach slants down towards the water…not gently inclined like you're used to at other beaches or in Florida. Scared the crap outa' me fist time I stood where the water comes to the shore…because on the day I was there, if you look straight out from where you're standing, there was a wall of water right in front of you 75 yards off shore…that gives you the sensation that it'll smash right into you. No…I wasn't on drugs or smoking Maui Wowee……….

When will Ppl learn giant waves have more power than our little flesh bodies against such waves. As the over 250,000 ppll lost their lives in Indonesia 🇮🇩 during the Tsunami waves! The current riptide is stronger than these Huge Waves! Yet, man still wants to conquer them! Idiots.
