Your going to call me names for this but why are people nominated when all they do is go straight down the wave and then getgobbled up by the white water. I love surfing I can recall a dozen videos of other surfers doing much much better then going straight .

I reckon Nathan 100% has this. The fact that he is turning towards the wave looking for the barrel in spite of the white water coming towards him is incredible. Most others would simply be steering straight ahead to get away from the beast! He attacks it.
