The Nazareth Canyon, also know as “Nazare” has been the recipient of some super swells this November 2014. The famed Portugal break is said to have produced the biggest wave ever surfed.

É lindo por demais assistir nazareth shore desmanchar em seus dias de gala. Estar lá seria vê-la nascer no horizonte, ondular em beleza e grandeza, sentir o gelo nos ossos, voltar pra casa e se contentar com banho de chuveiro.Que Papai do Céu em Cristo Jesus abençoe todos que lá se aventurarem. Parabéns a todos- inclusive aos Engenheiros conterrâneos que edificaram a fortaleza em rocha tão escarpada.

Nice photography, but ruined for me by the clever editing so common now among surfing clips – zooming in and out, skipping segments, flicking to alternate views, adding artificial lens flares, and providing only one or two fluid seconds of surfing at a time. This visual bombardment might appeal to viewers of music videos, but only causes frustration for dedicated surfers. An awesome wave, surfed well, can best be appreciated in its entirety, start to finish, without any tricky editing.
