I wouldn’t say it’s the biggest, though it”s probably the longest wave ever surfed at Uluwatu with a 90+ second ride (I missed the first 5 to 7 seconds of the tow-in). Let me know what you think below….the wave, the ride or my brilliant commentary while running thru the Blue Point restaurant to see the end of the ride haha.

a big Cheers to Andrei Ovchinnikov https://www.instagram.com/dolphinsurfandrei/ for an amazing ride….well done!
This was a day for the memory books as this was the biggest swell to hit Indonesia in the past 40+ years.
I paddled out in the afternoon and the river-like current made it near impossible to be in the right spot for bombs like this one. My constellation prize….I took the current and surfed Padang Padang for the evening session.
If you find a video of a longer wave ever ridden out at Uluwatu, be sure to post it in the comments below.
Cheers from Uluwatu, Bali…

We've just published an article about this historic swell and the use of jet-skis in Bali. All credits linked. Thanks Unstoppable Family! Check it here: https://nusasurfwear.com/nusa-mag/featured-articles/is-jet-ski-tow-in-surfing-desirable-in-bali-part-i-jet-ski-tow-in-surfers-at-uluwatu-bali/
OMG,fantastic capture buddy.hope you scored yourself a mansion like that guy did..@broKnstokeometer
If Gandalf was a surfer.
I was there about 3 weeks before this was taken, the swell we got while we were there only peaked with faces of about 9-10 feet, but The current they call racetracks over there near the cave entrance is so strong you can only paddle across it.
I did the same as you and paddled to padang padang lol
Good luck paddling out…hahaha
Shame there wasn't a drone to film a close up
you weren't even filming from the closet vantage point you schmendrick you.
Just getting out would be an achievement. So much water moving around out there. Crazy big. Ski def makes it more doable!
That is one funny looking dude filming
It’s big but it is running perfectly.
I need to go there! Looks about perfect for surfing.
almost a whole surfing video without profanity!
Nice add for more kooks at illa
Drone footage of the same wave.. You guys need to hook-up and do an edit using both clips
What is this ???……..a wave for ants !!
I would pay a years salary…to paddle out into that. It looks like upper Trussels on a huge south swell! Awsome, hope you went out!
This dude filming though……ima hafta get a jet ski and tow….brother if you were going to surf that…youd already be out there……you saying…i should be out there…you lie alot huh..and are scared……..you see i dont have a video up of that wave talkin about…i need a tow…..i was too busy surfing it…fuckin kook……TALKIN ABOUT IT…
DONT MAKE YOU ABOUT IT….ONLY DOING…MAKES YOU ABOUT IT…and all your …doing.is filming a perfect wave…so you sir are about photography….not surfing….even though you …….talk……like you are…..you do know thats the exact definition of…POSER.right?….you better stick to some novilty waves
So what you’re telling me is that waves like that do exist.
I surfed Ulu in august1990. Only man made things there was a rough trail and a bamboo ladder down to the cave entrance.
Holy cow….
So sick just Sangat bagus !
It was nuts that day, I was checking out Impossibles, surfed Bingin the day before, but this day it was MAXING out
GLad I traveled in the 70's-80's. I don't even recognize Bali, Nias, staying home now.
