well my dad in malaysia his friend and the news reporter saidvillacos cargo was flipped over i think by an giant wave during a wave
In my humble opinion, I think it should be law to only let professional and experienced surfers to ride such freak of nature. I have HUGE respect for the ocean. It is beautiful as it is mysterious, and it should absolutely be respected. One mistake, you are dead. Period. Because people are stupid, it won't surprise me if they attempted such a stunt. That is why I enjoy the beach with a six pack of beer, a towel and good company. Maybe a quick soak before heading back. That's how much I respect the ocean.
I would have someone strap me in tight enough so I don't get thrown out to sea by the boat rocking and the water, and then let the water and waves soak and nearly drown me, but I would hold my breath when necessary and if possible. That would be one hell of a ride.
That's going to be a hard no for me
Make a boat that is a ball mode and seat belts
Once I was on my boat and a hurricane went through and I almost got knocked out and then had to stand on the outside of my boat
Why didn’t u talk about the Boxing Day tsunami 🌊?
Biggest waves ever recorded: why don’t we show these viewers a bunch of tsunamis and fool them with a “clever” thumbnail!
We took a hiking trip on Isle Royale national park in Lake Superior (Michigan). The boat trip usually takes 3 hours , but we hit a major storm and the captain was continually steering into each wave to avoid being flipped. It took 5+ hours to reach the island as waves were routinely going over the top of the boat.
Been there and done that. Typhoon in the South Pacific and a hurricane coming out of the Caribbean.
Nonody saw any body who surfed on these waves where seen agian
You should watch the perfect storm, in it there is a clip of a 50-70 foot ship being toyed around and sunk. It is based off of a true story. Although it isn't based on that, I wanted to let you know so you can see the waves of the storm.
HELL NAH I AINT GOING ON A CRUISE SHIP
A truth stranger than fiction: Returning to Contentintal USA via the Alaska Marine Ferry system in the late 1990s, I was caught off guard on the north coast of British Columbia (Bering Straite) by a severe late winter storm from Haines, Alaska to Bellingham, WA. Even with modern stabilizers the ship could barely maintain control due to the waves and wind. Waves were 45+ feet and wind over 100 knots. Bilge pumps were completely overloaded, and we were taking on water in the cargo transport zones. All personnel were confined to cabins except active bridge crew. We lost one sailor overboard who was violently thrown over the railing after being pinned to the outer deck wall due to wind and could not get to a bulkhead door. The body was never found. I do not get seasick, but this was the only period of my lifetime I have. People do not realize how insignificant they are to the ocean.
They were laughing perhaps of adrenalin
