not as good as my older dakine bag only one zipper on the main compartment, so if it fails, so does the bag. should come with 2 zippers.also the opposite the handle side of the bag, the side that would touch ground if you leaned the bag against a wall, has the zipper go down half the length of the bag, this does not provide surfboard rail protection, where as the top side of the bag, the side you won’t be resting it on, has rail protection. this should have been designed the other way.infact they should…

Works!! Seems fine, tho a couple of minor considerations do keep it out of 5-star territory. The interior fin pouch is a bit small. Hey, I know we’re a vanishing breed, but a few of us still just need one big fin. The padding is good enough for tossing around in the car, but not necessarily airline-approved. (Really–what is?) I use this day bag to transport my long board in the bed of my truck to and from the beach. The bag provides basic bump and storage protection, and it has room for your leash and other items that will not damage your board. My biggest dislike is that the bag is advertised as Heat Resistant but in reality the tarpaulin material provides very little to no heat resistant protection when my board is in the bag in the back of my truck.
