Imperial Beach Dad says:

that was a lot intense! we've all been there (maybe not the rocks of Jaws, but trying to get outside on a day the sea is angry), way to fight the good fight.
I got swept under the IB pier last week and my leash got wrapped around a pylon with me on one side my board on the other and both pulled tight with more waves coming! had to deleash, swim for the board, slide on and paddle free, talk about adrenaline! ended up kissing sweet dry land and calling it a day :)
