Great for Jetta until it rains… I recently purchased FCS’s double soft surfboard rack to take 2 surfboards to the beach (~3hr drive). The straps were very easy to setup and fit great on my 2001 Jetta Sedan. Great straps – Warning for RAIN I have driven a few hundred miles (70-ish MPH highway speeds) with these straps since I bought them. The secure fantastically, and I’m never worried about the board leaving the top of my car. They are very well made, and I highly suggest them for anyone needing a modular board transportation solution.I want to caution users in the more rainy areas: the straps allow rain to come into the car. Great racks – This D-Ring System is the Best! Great racks! The ring system on these racks are VASTLY superior to the claw tooth models.
