I have never been to Mavs, but from all the footage/video I see it looks like everyone is just riding the shoulder? Wave breaks behind them they then turn of the bottom slightly and go over the back of the shoulder, nothing epic, actually boring to watch…
I’m at the Gold Coast now any recommended places to surf (experienced)

truely an insane experience
So I just spend a good chunk on a Hero 7, and was a little sketched out about mounting it on the board. I watched this and was like…Yea, no worries. LOL.
When bubba said he was scared to get in the water, that excluded Mavericks off my bucket list

Since they have gas canisters to act as a life jacket they should also have a compartment for oxygen like just a little tube attached to like there chest area
