HISTORICAL Hurricane TEDDY Swell | BIGGEST EAST COAST in Years!

–Season 2 : Episode 49–
Hurricane Teddy combined with a Nor’Easter to provide the biggest swell to hit Cape Hatteras since Winter Storm Riley in March 2018. And as the swell began to die, there was a window of said 12-15ft barrels, and a few bigger sets pushing near 20ft! One of the top biggest barreling days I’ve ever seen in the OBX.

And then on Day 2 we were graced with an all day wave feast, from dawn till dusk. What a blessing of surf after getting hammered for 5 days with the road closed and washed out.

And @Koa Rothman got to be here and witness it!

Sanskrit Soundflow says:

Dudeā€¦. Non stop barrels.

DJ Anthony says:

just mental!

mark kelly says:

you always seem to get decent waves. Oh I forgot youre not a skimboarder

NOFRENZ says:

Biggest in years!!??….yeah you guys are young…That's small considering what I've ridden and seen over my years…Good video tho!

eyes wide open says:

GREAT waves. I only watched because I'm an East Coast surfer. Only 45k subscribers? Well I used to subscribe until I realized what a self absorbed narcissist you are and that's not worth not ignoring. Your content is as good as say, Ben Gravy, JOB, Koa, Nathan Florence (well not quite that good), but still so few subscribers. A little humility might be good (not the "christian type) – as a surfer. Of all those guy I mentioned, you're the only one I wouldn't be psyched to surf with. I see you snaking every wave even on smaller days, just because you can. KInd of a dick, you could say. Nobody really cares about how well you surf…it's the person that counts. Maybe it's a dopey local vibe that you project too.

Deagler says:

So gnarly!!

Nick Sorrentino says:

How about Cody's waves?

Jimi Straw says:

Brett i love your riding style, precision and flow. hang loose, from an old surf cat

Satevo says:

I just moved to Surf City (Topsail Island) after being land locked in Atlanta for 20 years. I grew up surfing in Florida (New Smyrna Beach) so I'm so stoked to be back at the beach. I still have my old ass Rip Curl short board but I'm to fat for it now so I bought a soft top retro fish to get my sea legs back. Can't wait to get back into the swing of things.

SMISH's Raw Nature Review says:

They axed my YT Channel, so now on my back up I am going around showing support to my favorite channels & videos on YT! Congratulations! lol

Raevenswood says:

That Cam Richards kid was ripping. Solid stuff

j_ronin says:

Amateurs, do not attempt.

Tim Hughes says:

I m a hard sell, been going to Hatteras since 1974. A good production.

dale3ddavis says:

Been there, Done that. Lived in KDH, and KH when I was aboard the USCGC Point Brown at Oregon Inlet. Then moved to Buxton when I transferred to the Group Cape Hatteras. Loved those big days of NE'rs and post Hurricane swells. Loved those 10-15' days, only a couple of days it got 20-25' at the lighthouse before it moved back in 84-85

Jonathan Peterson says:

He has a live number for Surfline!? Wtf lol. I have to talk to mister spell.

Roy Bean says:

I understand you're just doing what every single other "lifestyle" video here does but do you have any idea how annoying and repulsive that stock synthesizer crap is on the ears? Please someone be original and find an alternative to this garbage.
