Hi everyone, I got another board! This one replaced two boards I had, though—haha.
This is an interesting topic: if you’re an intermediate surfer and you find yourself wanting to push into bigger conditions, what should you ride? A big, long elf shoe—something like a 7’0″ x 19″ x 3″ gun? Maybe. I’m not sure, but I feel like a mid-length makes sense—easy to surf, lots of paddle power—you just have to find one with sharp rails and enough rocker. Maybe, maybe not. I’ll hopefully find out over the next few months.
Disclaimer: A lot of this is just my opinion, and it’s not very well informed. I’m learning as I go, and I definitely don’t know everything! I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments.
