Heck, how do you measure 'longest' wave? Isn't uluatu (sp?) famed for longest wave rides? I enjoyed swami's, tamarack st, cardiff reef, old man's/trestles in 60s n 60s.
I've seen longer many many times at that spot and not only that but the surfing was mediocre he was not in the power of the wave he was wasting a lot of good sections
For me, swamis would be the longest right I have ever ridden. I will never forget it. This was also when swamis was still swamis if you know what I mean.
