The longest wave surfed by a dog (open water) is 107.2 meters (351.7 ft), and was achieved by Abbie Girl (USA) at Ocean Beach Dog Beach, in San Diego, California, USA, on 18 October 2011.
Abbie Girl and her owner Michael Uy beat their own previous record of 60 meters (196 ft 10.2 in) and chose the new location for this record attempt based on the better weather and ocean conditions for surfing.
