Mick O'Connor says:

Hey Benny. Love the honest reviews on your site mate.
Was wondering if i could get your opinion on a few things.?
Firstly, I'm looking for a board to surf here in NSW for those days its  6+ feet.
im 190cm (6'2-6'3), 90kg.
i usually ride a Chilli rare bird, 6.0' x 20', its nearly 33L. Goes really well for me until it hits 5 foot plus and starts to feel i bit small for my height.
What size Round up do you think would suit me? I'm thinking of stepping up to the 6'4(36L).
Would be riding this board on big days on point breaks and reefs around here, intermediate skills.
Any help would be appreciated. Also, whats the rocker like on these compared to the dhd sweet spot 2?
Cheers, Mick

Hi Benny… Great review. Generally, how many inches taller is recommend for overhead surf? Also, which model is your fav for overhead punchy hollow waves that has allot of paddle power and user friendly for average surfers?

marie reyes says:

I ALREADY SENT TO MAKE ONE FOR ME 6'10 X 20 1/2 X 2 3/4 TO GO FOR BIG WAVES..ON MY SPOT…I CAN WAIT TO HAVE IT IN MY FEET….GO DOWN ON A 10 FEET WAVE OR MORE..YEAHHHH

graham john says:

Mate in those kind of waves I would go at least 7 foot in that type of board. In my opinion quads are stiff and if you surfed that as a thruster it would pivot off the bottom more I reckon. Nice outline and rocker tho will keep it in mind definitely!! You are right Winki is a hard wave to surf backhand particularly with 80 guys in the water! For any body that struggles to turn a bigger board you need to ride a long board for a while and once you figure how to get those suckers on a rail you will be all over a board like this. Thanks Benny good rant as always!!

Himanshu Sinha says:

Good work benny!!

Pete Loneragan says:

Hey Ben, Did you ever surf the Rock Up?. Just ordered one for a dedicated Indo board. Im also 100+ kg and went for the 6'6. My mate ( who is little !! ) ordered the Round Up. Im after the board that will get me in and a chance on those perfect tubing days. What do reckon?
BTW….Love the channel….

surfed_out_koala says:

I aspire to be a board reviewer. What are the first things you should do when starting a board review channel and how do you get surfboard companies to lend you boards to try and review? Or how do you get a job for a board reviewer company (such as yourself) to test and post about boards?

Drew Green says:

Hey Benny, thanks for the review. Besides increasing the length did you also increase the volume? Would you mind to share your standard HPSB dims to get an idea of how you sized yours? Cheers mate!

Ho Stevie! says:

I want to surf Indo!

fishskulls76 says:

Hey Benny, stoked you reviewing this board just bought one in 6'2 , have yet to try it out (no good waves where I'm at at the moment). Good to hear it gave you confidence on bigger days, hoping it controls the speed that comes with bigger waves

Hugh Jarman says:

Js Monsta Box please!

Matt Denyer says:

Thanks for the review. i am thinking about getting one of these for a trip to Nica. how do you reckon the board will go there? thanks!
