Highly recommended! Painless, no hassle setup; I hooked it up to my cable and wireless router, plugged it in and my ISP recognized it immediately. Opened browser window; it went right to my ISP’s setup page; I entered the requested info, and was up and running in five minutes. The instructions do say to hook everything up, and then wait for 45 minutes (!?!) for it to ‘initialize’, but all the necessary indicator lights were showing connectivity within two minutes, so I launched Firefox and finished the setup…
Pretty straightforward to install I received this modem the other day to replace my TWC issued one for which I’d now have to pay $10 a month to rent. Pretty straightforward to install, followed the instructions included with the unit. I did, however, have to call TWC to change the IP address from the old to the new. Very easy, they were willing to oblige (unlike the instructions which will tell you they won’t). The IP address was looking for my old modem, he changed it it to the new. And, gave me a higher speed internet…
