I got this for prone paddling in the South Bay region of Southern California during the warmer months. Previously I had worn an O’Neill Hammer full suit and a Hammer spring suit. I am 5’11” and about 175 pounds and had XL’s in both. I got this one in L. It fits snugly, of course, but it is extremely flexible, and once in the water I was able to paddle without being aware I had it on. I have worn only O’Neill wetsuits for many years. First of all, the description is wrong. This is a pullover suit with no zippers other than a small zipper on a small pocket near the waistband. I was lucky to find a Medium USED LIKE NEW from Amazon Warehouse for a great price. I’m 150 lbs and about 5-8. Medium fits very snug but that’s good. For surfing, it is a good substitute for a full wetsuit for SoCal summertime ocean water temperatures (high 60’s and above). It would probably be to warm for tropical waters. It protects your torso…
