got what I wanted…basically Previously, I was swimming laps in a standard cotton t-shirt and getting a rash under my arm pit. It actually blocked the sun surprisingly well (guessing about 30 SPF), but the looseness/lack of hem elastic would trap huge airbubbles and water. This rash guard has been great for swimming in outdoor and indoor pools. I like having the UV protection and the warmth when swimming in the early morning cold hours. The sizing was right on point with my t-shirt size. It comfortably fits to my skin without squeezing uncomfortably.
