Biggest Wave Ever Surfed

Cyclone Alfred sent some massive swell hitting the Gold Coast and creating some ALL TIME WAVES. This created the ultimate playground for THRILL seeking surfers hyped to catch some of the GNARLIEST waves of their lives. So many people from all over the world including many pros came to surf the iconic KIRRA POINT BREAK during this swell. Watch the powerful and perfect BARRELS roll through providing some of the SICKEST waves for many surfers.

The surfers were out off Stoney Point on Lake Superior having a great time with the waves on Sunday evening. Photojournalist Nick Johnson captured the action with the nearly 8 foot waves.

Stoney Point is up Highway 61, just north of Duluth, Minnesota.
