English Plumber Claims To Have Surfed Biggest Wave Ever

British father of two and professional plumber Andrew Cotton has put his hand up to claim the title of world’s biggest wave surfer.

Off the coast of Portugal, Cotton was recently filmed tearing down the face of an estimated 80-foot (24 metre) monster.

A canyon located beneath the beach at Nazare creates unique conditions that produce the giant walls of water and attract surfers and mad men from all over the world.

Cotton and his support crew flew across the English Channel from Devon when they heard news of a storm front brewing.
