When wind moves across the ocean’s surface, it causes little ripples that eventually grow into waves as time and distance go on. Waves become unstable and start to break when they get to shallow water, which can put a lot of hydrodynamic pressure on the species that live there. I realize that occasionally they are lovely when viewed from a safe distance, but it’s also a good idea to check for shifting weather, waves, and tides, especially when you have plans to visit the beach or take a boat ride for pleasure across the ocean.
And even those precautions might not be sufficient because mother nature occasionally demonstrates her power by hurling waves over the deck and onto beaches all around the world.
Today, you’ll get to see just what I meant by the force of mother nature. From areas that stir up the water to the most terrifying waves ever surfed, here are “20 Biggest Waves Ever Recorded On Camera.”
