Entering August, it has become a routine thing every year, Uluwatu waves become bigger than the previous months. In this video there are surfers who managed to get through the rolling waves and there were also those who didn’t and they were rolled up in the big waves with wave heights of 2.5 meters to more than 3 meters. This surfing video was recorded using a DJI Mini 3 drone with original background sound recorded around the video recorder.

Locals say that it only happens rarely during summer here in OC. Glad we were able to capture these big wave moments. It was a beautiful chaotic line-up. Everyone’s stoked, some went home with a broken board, or injured and some went home with high spirits.

Here’s a five-minute raw action during that big tropical swell at the point in Newport beach.
