The surfer who caught this behemoth is Sebastian Steudtner and this video was captured earlier this season at the central Portuguese break. It was captured at the famed Nazaré, a big wave surfing spot located in Portugal. Buzz60’s Tony Spitz has the details.

Reblogged 6 months ago from www.youtube.comSebastian Steudtner is a German surfer who tours the oceans of the world in search of colossal waves. Officials believe he may have found one. Sophisticated drone footage captured Steudtner off the coast of Nazaré, Portugal. The monster wave was measured at 93.73-feet by the drone. If the size of this wave is ratified by surfing officials, then Steudtner will have broken his own world record that he set in 2020.
