Making Wood Surfboards Part 1

This video simply demonstrates how easy it is to make a balsa (or pine) with redwood stringer surfboard for weekend fun. Here we are starting with a small “kickboard” (or mini paipo). No need to glass these, we simply use a marine varnish for ease and quick repair. Great parent child weekend project and there’s nothing like riding a board you made!

Why Every Surfer Should Own a Foamy / Softboard no.44 | Compare Surfboards

Full Write Up: http://bit.ly/SoftechFoamySoftboard Why should every surfer own a foamy / softboard? To surf between the flags of course! This is not a review but a general opinion of foamy surfboards, which are not technical craft.

Great for kids. Great for beginner’s. Great for surfing the best wave on the beach, which always happens to be in front of the lifesaving flags where normal surfboards are forbidden!

In my opinion, selecting the right foam surfboard is simply a matter of colour and size preference. These are not technical craft, nor are they intended to be.

This is the Softech Tom Carroll Signature Model foam surfboard review at Benny’s Boardroom. Enjoy!
