Fox Head Rampage Adult Full Face Bike Helmet (Race Red/White, L)

For over 40 years, Fox has been the leader in gear and accessories for action sports of all types, starting with Motocross and expanding to mountain biking, BMX, and even surfing. In the spirit of keeping you outfitted from head to toe, the Rampage Helmet is a perfect addition to any kit. The super light fiberglass shell prevents the helmet from weighing too heavy on your head during a long day spent riding. This shell is also incredibly durable, and when combined with the inner EPS foam core, the result is an incredibly hardy helmet that can take a beating if it needs to. Soft cheek pads, inner lining, and double D-ring strap keep the helmet in place, which means less irritation for you. 11 vents allow for plenty of airflow, lessening the risk of overheating, as well as keeping you comfortable. Additionally, if you’re in to wearing goggles, the Rampage features an eye-opening large enough to be compatible with most modern types. An ideal blend of quality, durability, and slick Moto styling, the Rampage will be the helmet you come back to, again and again. Available in sizes Small to X-Large.

Product Features

  • SAFETY – The combination of the fiberglass shell and EPS interior make the Rampage Helmet incredibly durable, able to take the full brunt of an impact without transferring it to you. The larger eye-opening also allows you to wear goggles, to better protect against debris and dirt.
  • COMFORT – 11 well placed vents allow for greater airflow to keep you cool and dry, all ride long. Soft cheek pads, a comfort inner lining and double D-ring strap keep the helmet secure, so you won’t need to constantly stop and readjust, letting you focus on the ride, and not on the helmet.
  • STYLE – Look cool, everywhere you go. Classic moto helmet styling is accentuated by eye-catching Fox branding, giving you all the street cred you deserve. No matter where you wear this helmet, you’re sure to stand out from the rest.
  • USE – Developed with MTB riders in mind, the Rampage is competition ready. Perfect for all day riding, this helmet can stand up to whatever you throw at it. Life is short, go wild!
  • PRODUCT SPECIFICATIONS – Available in sizes Small, Medium, Large, and X-Large

Kelly Slater, John John Florence and Teahupoo Epic Surf News 2016

We drop into the week on August 1st with footage of a new swell in the water. Super fun waves arrive in socal just one day after 2 major surfing contests ended with terrible waves.

How about a lil uke? On that same day we shared Tiare Thompson (as a grom) performing Abadaba Honeymoon.

Evolution of Big Wave Riding. Laird Hamilton Interview by Pete Mel.

The surfing world celebrated on August 3rd after receiving news from the International Surfing Association. They announced that the sport of “Surfing” would be added to the 2020 Olympics.

Jadson barrels into August 9th when he shared this clip. Jadson Shacked HandDrag

The action don’t stop when Big Wave Surfer, Nic Lamb, shared an image of himself bombing into this monstrous wave. When the waves are glaring, Nic Lamb is glowing.

Awwww Yeah! On August 11th we wanted to know who will surf the Kelly Slater #wavepool next? Kelly Slater quietly announced that there would be a raffle held by Omaze.com. Two Winners would be selected to surf Kelly Slater’s WavePool. Don’t trip, Pro Surf Blog immediately submitted an entry.

A couple days later on the 13th surfing contest was held at the Oceanside pier in California. This image is from the Legends heat.. Pic by Leah

At the same time AWOW was down at the Oceanside harbor hooking up groms with surfing lessons. AWOW specialized in providing surfing lessons for kids with Autism. We encourage you to visit their website to learn more about the amazing work they do.

We head up the coast on the same day to Rancho Palos Verdes to see the Whale exhibit at the interpretive center. During parts of the year you can go outside the facility to the bluff and see #whales swimming off the coast.

Then on August 16th Italo Ferreira shared this amazing picture of the visuals of his Tahitian evening.

Two days later on the 18th, the Billabong Pro Opening Ceremony in Tahiti kicked off. Check out this video segment by World Surf league.

(19th) Pro Surf Blog asked Tahitians is they were backing local competitor, Hira Teriinatoofa. Looking by the amount of “LIKES” that they were supporting him.

By August 22nd I was checking on the condition of the Epic Surf News “Fantasy Surfing team”.

Then on the 23rd we reached Finals Day at the Billabong Pro. With Jadson and Ace Buchan eliminated from our Fantasy Team we only had one request. “Kelly Slater don’t let John John win like you did with Medina the year before.” Well Slater did not let me down. Kelly Slater dominated the event and clinched that Tahitian title.

And on August 25th we had to find out Why Nat Young is so hard on his boy? hahaha#Jadson #SleepyTime after insane surfing sessions in Tahiti. You can see more of Jadon’s pics on instagram.

Switching gears on August 28th with some Ocean Poetry by Jason Hague. We found this profound content via “Surfers Healing”.

On the same day we were crackn up at a pic shared by Miguel Pupo. Check out the little dude’s board, haha.

And on August 30th we shared some uplifting information. Stoked for this grant that will help continue to fund successful projects such as special needs surf schools for youth and wounded warriors, floating beach wheelchairs, marine mammal rescue equipment, local scholarships and much more.

Finally on August 31st we decide to end the month strong with some motivational training footage from Miguel Pupo.

Thanks for watching this 2016 Surf News edition and check back soon for more updates.
Hope you have an Epic 2016.
