Massive swell hits San Diego at Swamis with triple overheads, plenty of broken boards, life guard rescues and surfers showing zero respect for each other as they battle it out with their boards, fists, and words! Swamis surfing at its best. Support the locals! Word in the parking lot is ‘there are a lot of dudes from all over descending on our perfect right break gem and most are from out of town, across this country. That’s okay, nobody owns the ocean, but the locals are doing their best to give and expect respect from each other and the out-of-towners. Karma is real! Oh, and please don’t park in the red zone in the parking lot. Lifeguards hate giving out tickets when they’d rather be saving someone’s life.
