Maya is a Brasilian surfer… tried to surf the biggest wave and hurt herself, almost died, but her friend Rescued her from the water. She is Fine Now and will be back to catch more waves soon… big props!

Maya Gabeira survived a serious accident while trying to achieve the World record, for biggest wave ever surfed. She was unconscious when she was finally rescued. Her team mate, Carlos Burle rescued her from the sea and performed CPR.
Maya soon recovered her consciousness and was taken to a hospital. She is fine now.

Maya Gabeira sobreviveu a um afogamento ao tentar alcançar o recorde mundial, de maior onda alguma vez surfada. Ela estava inconsciente quando foi finalmente resgatado. Seu companheiro de equipe, Carlos Burle resgatou a sufista do mar e reanimou-a.
Maya recuperou a consciência e foi levado para um hospital. Ela está bem agora.
