It looks like that shark was the last of its kind and was searching out to see if there exists another one like it amongst the 'New' species…poor guy is the 'fish' out of water…..
That shark is literally just minding his own business his goal is to get to his destination with no intentions of human interactions thats my kind of shark lol
As a surfer, I've seen way too many videos of absolute fucktards who prefer to just record instead of warn that there's a shark. Seriously I cannot comprehend how small their brains are. If you see a shark, either warn the people immediately and if you cannot do that CALL THE POLICE so they can send that info to lifeguards to close the beach. This isn't that hard people
Looking like a white shark – but based upon clear size comparisons in the video then the shark is 6-7 ft, indicating a juvenile. At this stage white sharks predate on fish – their dentition (teeth) are evolved for fishing, rather than mammal attack, pointy rather than triangular – and their predatory behaviour is not geared towards attack/investigation of larger prey sources. A lot of drone footage – readily accessible online – shows that juvenile white sharks are intimidated/avoid larger bodies in the water (than fish prey) whilst at the juvenile stage of development… this video substantiates those observations – zero risk to those in the water and most likely the shark involved was as 'wary' of the surfers as the persons would have been of the shark… better education of white shark life-stage behaviour and responses to human behaviour would better serve interactions, rather than the out-dated sensationalist p.o.v. presented here… nursery areas along the southern and northern Californian coasts and drone footage show that these types of interactions with juvenile white sharks and bathers, swimmers, surfers, SUP-ers occur on a daily basis…
