Wow. I remember surfing there in the early-mid 90’s no flotation vests, many times no jet skis out. I experimented with a 20 ft. Leash that Da Kine made for me. I'd been freediving since I was 10, so just swimming to the bottom of the leash and waiting it out seemed like a good idea. But there's no cheating Mav's. Obviously what they have figured out nowadays is the best so far. I wish I hadn't got hurt so bad out there. Respect to the young guns and to the old dogs who can hang in. I couldn't (after breaking my back in 4 places) I never a star. Just a random NorCal guy who liked to take off on the peak

Ahhhh amazing waves I always watch amazed riding the heavy waves with heavy music like Delta Parole or with relaxing music videos in background. If crazy like then always heavy tho
