Surfer Rodrigo Koxa Breaks Record for Largest Wave Ever Surfed

Surfer Rodrigo Xoka breaks the record for the largest wave ever surfed, in this incredible surfing video captured in Nazare, Portugal, captured in 2017.

Koxa surfed an 80ft (24.4-metre) wave at Nazare in Portugal on 8 November 2017 and the moment was captured by Newsflare member Pedro Miranda.

Koxa’s record for the highest wave ever surfed was confirmed at the 2018 Big Wave Awards that took place this weekend in Los Angeles
