Germany’s Sebastian Steudtner may have surfed the biggest ever wave in Nazaré, Portugal earlier this season. The wave, calculated using state-of-the-art drone technology, was measured at 28.57 metres. If officially ratified by the sport, it will surpass Steudtner’s current world record of 26.21 metres which he also set in Nazaré back in 2020.
