TOP 10 BEST WAVES NAZARÉ XXXL LARGEST SWELL OF THE SEASON – Nazaré 2022 February 25th
Another day for the Books:
Once again Nazare made a splash, not only within the surfing scene but throughout the world. Praia do Norte lit up again with a Giant swell that hit the Portuguese coast this February 25th.
The lineup in the biggest wave in the world was once again filled with legends: Lucas Chumbo (Qua traveled from California and arrived a day early), Nic Von Rupp, Andrew Cotton, Lucas Fink, Ian Cosenza, Michelle des Bouillons, Bruninho Santos, Joao de Macedo, Antonio Silva, Maya Gabeira, Sebastian Steudtner and many more.
It was a giant day with good conditions but difficult. A very aggressive inside that made the work of the jetskis difficult and added a lot of risk to each rescue.
This is the top 10 waves surfed.

It was EPIC! Hope it's not the last of this season
Nazare is big but so boring, it's like a shoulder hop at 80ft. I will take an teaupo swell half as big. Or cape fear. Still mad respect but just come on.
Super footage of a super special place Nazare Portugal, and super footage of these brave surfers and supporting cast who are out there with them on those moving ocean mountains… what an exhilarating ride it must feel like going down those monsters …. Respect!

Yessss! Awesome stuff! I'm making my kids watch this one. People willing to ride that deserve so much more recognition. Thanks Barena Film and Sports for catching this day so well and at a great angle. I watched another post and just couldn't get a feel for the size. Never a problem with your excellently shot footage.

Thanks for the video! If anyone ever visits Portugal, I advise you to go and watch the waves from thag cliff it's amazing even without an XXL swell. (Yes almost an exact copy of ano th her comment I just made on an other video I just watched for the observent someone:-)
Lucas chambo is such a good surfer and a good sport love his energy looked like he smashed the swell!!!
