Top 10 Surf Spots With Big Waves!

Here are my top ten biggest surf spot waves around the World. They are:

Nazare, Portugal
Teahupoo, Tahiti
Cortes Bank, CA
North Shore, HI
Belharra, France
Shipstern Bluff, Tasmania, Australia
Mullaghmore, Ireland
Tavarua Island, Fiji
Todos Santos, Baja, MX
Puerto Escondido, MX

Year round, one of these spots are spitting out waves that could eat your house. The riders who risk their lives hold balls the size of saturn in their pants. Every time they spend any time at these spots, there is an uncomfortably high chance they could die.

A big wave list without MAVERICKS? Stop right there. Mav's is THE BIG WAVE PADDLE in break. Back in 79/80 Waimea was the top big wave in the surfing universe because no one knew about and was paddling much of anything else. There was no tow in happening yet. We discovered Mavericks and that set in motion what we have today. It can't be left off any big wave list because it is above many you have on that list. Plus it is freaking HUGE and dangerous. Ghost Trees should get an honorable mention huge and dangerous rocks one of the most dangerous breaks on the planet and few have the balls to surf it/tow in. Norcal Boys drop the hugeness.

There's more than 10 in this video. #4 is North Shore Oahu (Wiamea) and also Maui (Peahi). You can't just say "North Shore Hawaii" to combine them both.
