Great quality, poor pockets This review is for the Chino version of these shorts. I really wanted to give these 5 stars. They look good, the chino fabric quality is nice, and the tailoring and fit is really good. No side work pocket!! A little dissapointed because upon searching the “Q&A” section for this product I was under the impression that they would have the work pocket on the side – that little pocket perfect for a cellphone. I own many pairs of these Volcom shorts and all of them have those pockets, these do not. An official response from the vendor when asked if these shorts have a work pocket is “yes.” I was dissapointed to see they actually do not, but they fit good and was just too lazy to return them. Better Than “Modern” Version. For those of you deciding between this style and the modern, let me explain the main difference; this one has a bit more space at the legs, the modern is tighter and looks a bit off, if you don’t have the right body type or are used to the style all together.
