Part 1. Biggest surf day so far this El Nino winter 2015/16 and the waves just kept on increasing in size throughout this Big Wednesday 1/27/16. An incredible day for surfers and spectators alike with spectacular wipeouts and crazy elevator drops all applauded by an appreciative local and international audience.

brah a perfect video mahalo i rode only one 20+' tube in my life btw
Waimea can be punishing
I'm I the only one that thinks this wave is overrated? I mean i get the historical importance and all but it just seems so underwhelming and boring compared to other breaks.
Great video!
Mushy and thin lipped waves for Waimea, Waimea is scarier when waves have more water pushing them with thicker lips.
Waimea is so scary.
these waves are tiny compared to Nazare Portugal….
Love the whale in the background at 3:35
8:10 song name?
Watch carefully at the 3:34 of this video. In the Horizont you can sea like some strange thing shut up form the water with a splash like a gaiser. Crazy
bumpy choppy mushburgers
great vid. really enjoyed the set waves that were ridden; place is huge. man, those set waves are bombers. thanks for posting.
that wipeout @3:18 was heavy AF! fucking guy dropped like a stone, on his board.
Is that a whale spout way outside at 3:35?
Just curious, if you want to bodyboard, is it possible in the area, where would you want to go? Thanks…
3:51–3:54 — look in the top right corner of video… not on the edge but the top right quadrant. You'll see what appears to be a whale blowing water out of it's blowhole! 😀
2:40/2:55 goofy?Mickey s best friend?
Great video. Thanks!
Awesome… Good work, and thank you for posting.
Today is 2/24/16. Surf has been huge the last 3-4 days. Today conditions look favorable to run the Eddie. It is 50-60ft and may come down to rideable.
looks more like big pinballs
Whats the first song?
supposed to be around 25'
Whales in the background, all super.
