You might try rubbing a drop of liquid soap on the camera lens before u go out, then let the ocean water wash it off. I do it with my diving masks and swimming masks and it works great. Love your videos.

Quick question: I know you encountered a shark in California. How often does that happen in your travels and at home? With the amount of time you spend in the water I would think it would be a high probability. Have you any stories about encountering sharks or dolphins?

Tina, don’t be afraid to change the ‘Tina’ size as you keep surfing. I had a friend on Oahu, a woman from the mainland who went to UH. She started surfing in her ‘30’s and kept getting more and more into it. She was pretty fit and strong, but not an exceptional athlete. In her ‘40’s she was living near Haleiwa Harbor and she told me that she would sometimes paddle out at dawn and surf cloud breaks by herself. It’s really rare for someone to start surfing so late and reach that size of surf. No limits, you are a child of the Aina, gombate!
